Uttarakhand: Government tightened its grip on employee organizations before elections, banned strikes in these corporations

The process of banning employee organizations continues in Uttarakhand before the Lok Sabha elections. In this context, the government has issued orders to stop the strike in some corporations for the next 6 months. This order will be applicable on Uttarakhand Drinking Water Institute and Construction Corporation as well as various employees of Water Institute under the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department.

In view of the possibility of strike by various employee organizations for their demands before the Lok Sabha elections, the state government is ordering a ban on strikes in various departments. This time, this order will be applicable on all the employees of Uttarakhand Drinking Water Institute Development and Construction Corporation as well as Uttarakhand Water Institute under the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department. Strike has been prohibited for every category of employees in these corporations. According to the information, the employee organizations in these corporations of the state have been putting forward their various demands before the state government and in such a situation, there is a possibility of strike by the employee organizations.

Therefore, considering various possibilities, the government has already given orders to stop the strike. The government has issued orders to rock the strike for the next 6 months, that is, now no organization will be able to call for a strike for the next 6 months. NSA can also be imposed on employee organizations doing this. Earlier, the Uttarakhand government has issued similar orders for all other departments including the Energy Department. Because Lok Sabha elections are near in Uttarakhand like the rest of the country, these steps are being taken by the government keeping in mind any possibility.
