Uttarakhand: Why did Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri apologize to the public?
On July 13 last year, the bridge built on Malan river under Kotdwar assembly was broken. Which was said to be made as soon as possible. But this bridge has not been completed yet. On Saturday, Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri laid the foundation stone and performed the bhoomi pujan of the bridge. Along with this he also apologized to the public.
Broken bridge on Malan river will be ready soon
On July 13, 2023, the bridge over Malan river under Kotdwar assembly was broken. Today Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri laid the foundation stone and performed the bhoomi pujan of the bridge which is going to be built at a cost of Rs 26 crore 75 lakh. Ritu Khanduri first thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Puskar Singh Dhami as well as departmental minister Satpal Maharaj. He told that it is the hard work of all of us that today so much money has been approved for this bridge.
Assembly Speaker apologized to the public
Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri apologized to the public and said that it has taken time to build this bridge but it will soon be ready in front of all of us. He told that in the coming three days we are laying the foundation stone of more than Rs 100 crore, doing bhoomi pujan and inaugurating it. In which programs like culvert in Lalpani, bhoomi pujan of roadways bus stand and tap well etc. are included.
Thanked departmental officers and workers
Vice President Ritu Khanduri, while thanking all the departmental officers and workers, said that it is the hard work of everyone that even after the terrible disaster, we were able to save Kotdwar safely. Adding PM Modi’s guarantee in his address, he said that it is his inspiration and blessings that we are able to see the grand Ram temple today. Similarly, we have also done the work of education and beautification of temples under Kotdwar Assembly.

In the end, Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri thanked everyone and said that it is the responsibility of all of us that the work should be good and we should also keep looking after it and for the upcoming elections also, the Assembly Speaker appealed to the public to vote as much as possible.
