By giving ticket to Ajay Mishra Teni, BJP proved that it does not love farmers, it loves the murderers of farmers
Ignoring all the speculations, BJP has once again nominated Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni as its candidate from Kheri Lok Sabha seat. After the announcement of his ticket on Saturday evening, protests have also started. Farmer leaders have issued a statement saying that by doing this, BJP has hurt the hearts of farmers and laborers.
District President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Non-Political) Kulwant Singh Joshan has said that he is very saddened by this. A case of Tikunia violence is going on against Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish. The martyrdom of farmers can never be forgotten. In such a situation, Ajay Mishra should not have been given ticket from Lakhimpur Kheri.
Sarwan Singh Pandher released video
Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher, resident of Amritsar, Punjab and who gave edge to the farmer movement, expressed his protest by releasing a video. Pandher said that BJP has hurt the hearts of farmers and laborers by giving ticket to Ajay Mishra again.

He said that Ajay Mishra is an accused, a case under Section 120B of murder is going on against him. Farmers are saddened by BJP giving ticket to Teni. Farmers and laborers will definitely take revenge for this during the already ongoing movement. The movement will continue until justice is obtained.
Teni remained in controversies
BJP’s one-time MLA and two-time MP Ajay Mishra Teni has a long association with controversies. He was an accused in the Prabhat Gupta murder case that took place in Tikunia 23 years ago. However, he was acquitted by the High Court. After this, on October 3, 2021, farmers agitated against him in Banveerpur.
Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the bloody clash between farmers and BJP workers. His son Ashish Mishra Monu is the main accused in the case. 13 accused went to jail but all have been on bail for a year.
