A case of forcibly applying Holi colors to two Muslim women has come to light in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. A video related to this is also going viral on social media. After which the police have said that they will take action against the hooligans who applied colours. The matter is in front of Maharaj Temple of Dhampur.

It is being told that two Muslim women were going to their home on a bike with an acquaintance. During this time people were playing Holi in the market. But despite the women’s refusal, people there applied color to them.

What is the whole matter?
It can be seen in the video that a man is sitting on a bike. Whereas, two Muslim women are sitting behind him. Then some people threw water on them and started shouting Happy Holi loudly. The women also told them that we are going to the market, don’t celebrate Holi like this. Then a hoodlum came and applied color on the face of the young man sitting on the bike. And the other applied color on the face of the elderly woman sitting behind on the bike.

During this time, in the viral video, a young man can be heard saying that this is the main market and Holi is played here like this every year for the last 70 years, you should not have come. After some argument, the young man went ahead on the motorcycle with the women. Even when he started leaving, water and colors were thrown on them. After applying colors, the youth present there also raised slogans of Har Har Mahadev.

Action will be taken against the hoodlums
Bijnor SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun said that the video has come to our notice. We will take action on this. It is wrong to harass anyone like this. Action will be taken against such hooligans. People should play Holi but in a peaceful manner. This kind of misbehavior will not be tolerated at all.
