Voting begins for Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand! Elderly and disabled people are casting their vote

The process of postal ballot i.e. door-to-door voting has started in Uttarakhand. Under which, polling personnel are going door-to-door for the disabled and senior citizens above 80 years of age to cast their votes through ballot paper. Voting is being held at various places in Nainital district. On the other hand, 131 polling parties have left for 2,015 elderly and disabled people in Almora district to vote.

The voting process for Lok Sabha elections 2024 has started in Uttarakhand. 131 polling parties of polling personnel were sent to all the assembly constituencies of the district to enable the disabled and elderly people to vote at home. Polling personnel were sent from Simkani Maidan in Almora to Almora, Jageshwar and Someshwar assembly constituencies.

Upazila Magistrate and Jaivardhan Sharma said that arrangements have been made for senior voters and disabled voters to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. Its objective is to ensure that no one is deprived of voting. For this, polling parties have been sent from Simkani Maidan for Almora, Jageshwar and Someshwar assembly to enable the disabled and 85+ age voters to vote door to door.

At the same time, polling parties for Dwarahat Assembly have left for Ranikhet from Engineering College Dwarahat, from Ranikhet and for Salt Assembly from Bhikiyasain. At the same time, parties of 39 polling personnel have been sent from Almora, Someshwar 23, Jageshwar 21, Salt 14, Ranikhet 18, Dwarahat 16 to conduct door-to-door voting of voters with disabilities and those aged 85+.

2,015 elderly and disabled voters will vote in Almora

There are 378 disabled voters in Almora district. Whereas, there are 1,637 elderly voters aged 85 years or above. In such a situation, the polling personnel of the sent polling parties will go to their homes and conduct voting through postal ballot. At the same time, ballot papers will be kept in two layers.

Disabled and elderly voters are also casting their vote in Nainital. At the same time, a team of polling parties includes Sector Magistrate, Polling Officer as well as 6 to 7 employees and officers. At the same time, disabled and elderly voters looked happy after casting their vote through ballot. He says that this method has been facilitated for the first time in the Lok Sabha elections, which in itself is commendable.

The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
