TMC leaders’ protest continues in Delhi, now sitting outside the police station against central agencies
The strike by TMC leaders in Delhi has been going on for the last 18 hours. Leaders are protesting outside the police station road of Delhi. Earlier, Trinamool Congress leaders were detained by Delhi Police and taken to the police station. However, they all sat on strike there. All these leaders remained in the police station the whole night and opened the front again in the morning.

TMC MP Sagarika Ghosh wrote on social media platform X that the protest has been going on for 24 hours. We were picked up by Delhi Police from outside the Election Commission office yesterday. He further said that we were pushed and scuffled. After this, we were taken to an unknown place by police bus and finally brought to Mandir Marg police station where we spent the night. This morning our protest continues against the misuse of central agencies NIA, CBI, IT and ED by the Modi government against the opposition in the general elections.
What is the demand of TMC leaders?
Let us tell you that the leaders who are sitting on strike include Derek O’Brien, Mohammad Nadimul Haq, Dola Sen, Saket Gokhale, Sagarika Ghosh, Shantanu Sen and Abir Ranjan Biswas and Sudeep, vice president of the party’s West Bengal student wing. This representation of TMC had gone to meet the Election Commission. All of them are demanding from the Election Commission that the heads of ED, CBI, NIA, and Income Tax Department should be changed. After this, all of them sat on strike outside the Election Commission office.
