Uttarakhand / Ramnagar: Cruelty to a girl on the pretext of marriage, case registered against the accused
A case of rape of a girl has come to light from Ramnagar area of Nainital. The girl accused the young man of raping her on the pretext of marriage. The police have registered a case against the youth on the basis of the victim’s complaint.
Cruelty to a girl on the pretext of marriage
The victim has filed a complaint with the police regarding the matter. The victim told in her complaint that a young man living in her neighborhood raped her on the pretext of marriage. After some time, when the girl questioned the young man about marriage, the accused started abusing her. Along with this, the victim has accused the youth of threatening to kill her.
Case registered against the accused
Regarding the matter, Kotwal Arun Kumar Saini said that on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections. The investigation of the case is ongoing. If the allegations are proved, the accused will be arrested soon.
