Two pilgrims died in Yamunotri Dham, 73 pilgrims have died in the Yatra so far

Two pilgrims who had come to visit Yamunotri Dham died. During the journey, the health of two pilgrims from Goa and Rajasthan suddenly deteriorated. They were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared them dead. So far, 73 pilgrims have died during the Char Dham Yatra including Hemkund Sahib.

Death of two pilgrims in Yamunotri Dham

Two pilgrims from Goa and Rajasthan who had come to visit Yamunotri Dham died. According to the information received, Yashwant Sawant (72)’s condition deteriorated in Janki Chatti on the night of May 31. Along with this, Babu Lal (60)’s health deteriorated in the middle of Yamunotri and both of them fainted. Both were taken to the hospital in an unconscious state where they were declared dead.

So far 73 pilgrims have lost their lives

According to the State Disaster Operations Center, so far 17 pilgrims have died in Yamunotri Dham. If we talk about the Char Dham Yatra, 73 pilgrims have died so far. The number of pilgrims is increasing day by day in the Char Dham Yatra. In just 22 days, the number of pilgrims has crossed five lakh.
