The havoc of lightning is being seen in Pithoragarh. The youths had gone to Chipla Kedar to collect medicinal herbs. During this, both the youths died due to lightning. The deceased have been identified as Pankaj Singh (28) son of Trilok Singh resident of Saup Tok and Jitendra Singh Kunwar (32) son of Daulat Singh Kunwar resident of Saup Tok.

Death of two youths who had gone to collect medicinal herbs

According to the information received, both the youths had gone to Chipla Kedar area about 15 days ago with other villagers to collect medicinal herbs. Due to bad weather three days ago, both the youths died due to lightning. As there was no communication network working there, the villagers present there reached Dharchula and informed the family about the accident. After which there is mourning among the family members.

Mourning spread in the village

It is being told that the last rites of both the youths have been done in the same area. Let us tell you that to reach the Bugyals, one has to pass through a very dangerous rocky path. In such a situation, it was very difficult to bring down the bodies from there. There is mourning in the area since the accident.
