Heavy rain warning in 19 states for next three days, red alert issued

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in 19 states for the next three days. Let us tell you that due to heavy rains and floods from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand to Northeast and Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka, the rivers are in spate. Floods continue to wreak havoc in many states.

Red alert issued

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rains in Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat on Tuesday. There is an orange alert for heavy rains on 17-18 July in Uttarakhand, 18 July in East Rajasthan, 19 July in Odisha and 18-19 July in Andhra Pradesh.

Along with this, heavy rain warnings have also been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Northeast and Southern states.
