After Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, now Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi reached Delhi and met Home Minister Amit Shah. Where Minister Joshi also presented a statue of Kedarnath Dham to Home Minister Amit Shah. After this, there was a discussion between the two about all the schemes and issues related to agriculture going on in Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi said that National Cooperative Organic Limited (NCOL) established under the Ministry of Cooperation of the Government of India showed interest in purchasing PGS certified products produced in the state, especially Basmati rice, amaranth, millets, pulses etc. As a result, a meeting was held between Uttarakhand Organic Products Council and National Cooperative Organics Limited.
Minister Joshi said that to give basic form to this process, a formal contract is also proposed to be made between the two organizations, after which the purchase of organic products of the farmers of the state will be started by NCOL. During this, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for the funds for the Vibrant Village program on behalf of the Home Ministry in view of the adverse geographical conditions of the state.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah agreed to buy organic products from Uttarakhand through National Cooperative Organic Limited established under the Ministry of Cooperation.
