Five MPs from Uttarakhand met Nitin Gadkari and made this request regarding Kedarnath disaster
All the BJP MPs of Uttarakhand including Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today. During this, he urged Gadkari to rebuild the Kedarnath road affected due to disaster and landslide. On which Union Minister Nitin Gadkari assured him that work on this will be started soon.
BJP MP from Garhwal seat Anil Baluni said that everyone is aware of the disaster we saw in Kedarnath valley. Roads and national highways have been damaged in this disaster. Today all the MPs of Uttarakhand met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and apprised him of the situation in the area.
He told that a large part of the national highway has been washed away. Due to which Kedarnath Yatra has been affected. The state is also suffering economic loss due to the disaster. He said that he requested Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for immediate action, to which he has agreed.
Apart from this, Anil Baluni said that he has also talked to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari about a permanent solution to the landslide in Uttarakhand. So that the incidents of landslides and the damage caused by them can be reduced. On which Minister Gadkari has assured that tunnels will be built wherever needed.
It should be noted that due to heavy rains in Kedarghati, a cloud burst in Jungle Chatti near Lincholi. Due to which the footpath in Rambada, Bhimbali, Lincholi got damaged. Along with this, bridges also got washed away. Apart from this, the Kedarnath highway also got washed out at many places. Due to which many devotees got stuck.
