It is being told that Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are reaching Uttarakhand in September. During this time, they can also heat up the politics regarding Kedarnath.

After this, Congress is constantly putting the government in the dock even on the situation of natural disaster in Kedarnath. In this way, overall, Kedarnath has been the center of politics in Uttarakhand for a long time. Politics in the name of Kedarnath is also going to be at its peak in the upcoming assembly by-elections.

Senior BJP leader Devendra Bhasin says that the Congress high command has never given importance to Uttarakhand. Even during the Lok Sabha elections, the big leaders of the party have avoided coming to Uttarakhand. If these big leaders focus on Uttarakhand regarding the by-election on the Kedarnath seat, then it is clear that they have anticipated the possibility of defeat on this seat. However, it will not make any difference even if Rahul Gandhi or any other leader of Congress comes for the Kedarnath by-election. As far as Mangalore and Badrinath seats are concerned, BJP had lost both those seats in the 2022 assembly elections as well. Despite this, the party performed better in the 2024 by-election.
