Uttarakhand: Ganga Mahotsav program will be held on Namami Gange Ghat in Haridwar on 4th, MD of National Mission of Clean Ganga inspected

This time Ganga Mahotsav will be organized for the first time in Haridwar on the 4th and preparations have also started for this in Haridwar. The program is to be organized at Chandi Ghat Namami Gange Ghat. In this sequence, MD of National Mission of Clean Ganga Rajiv Kumar Mittal reached Haridwar and inspected the venue along with the officials of the district. During this, he took stock of the arrangements. At the same time, Ganga Mahotsav will be inaugurated by Union Water Power Minister CR Patil and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
DG National Mission of Clean Ganga Rajiv Kumar Mittal says that every year we celebrate Ganga Utsav on 4 November, this is its eighth edition. Earlier we have done it many times in Delhi, this time we will celebrate on the banks of Ganga and for that the state of Uttarakhand has been selected. Union Water Power Minister CR Patil will come to the program and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also likely to come.
Said that this program will be inaugurated by both the personalities and all the aspects of Ganga will be highlighted in this program. What programs have been done under the Namami Gange scheme, what efforts are going on, what success stories are there and all the participating NGOs and different institutions working with us, will be presented. He said that the program will be a one-day event, for which the date of November 4 has been fixed. The program will start in the morning and will end in the evening with Ganga Aarti and cultural program.
