In the Uttarkashi mosque case, now Hindu organizations have decided that at present no agitation will be done due to Diwali. But they have called a Maha Panchayat in this matter on November 4. This meeting will be organized in the Vishwanath temple auditorium. In which further planning of the movement will be done.

Case against 208 including eight named in the case

Big action of the police has been seen in the case. According to Kotwali in-charge Inspector Amarjeet Singh, a case has been registered against eight named and 200 unknown in this case. Along with this, Section 163 is applicable in the district and heavy police force has been deployed.

People read Friday prayers at home

Section 163 has been implemented to maintain peace and law and order in the district, due to which Friday prayers could not be offered today. Due to which people of the Muslim community read Friday prayers at their homes.
