After the Almora accident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a high-level meeting in the Secretariat on Tuesday. In the meeting, CM Dhami has reprimanded the responsible officers for not installing crash barriers.
Answer sought for not installing crash barriers
In the meeting, the CM sought answers from the Public Works Department officials regarding the delay in the construction of crash barriers on Pauri-Ramnagar road. The CM said that in the last two years, an amount of seven and a half crores was sanctioned to install crash barriers on this route. Despite this, why the barriers have not been installed yet. The CM has directed the responsible officers to investigate in this regard.
Roadways buses should be available on all routes: CM
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Roadways officials to ensure availability of roadways buses on all routes. Additional buses should be operated during the festival time. If the buses are not sufficient, then arrangements should be made to buy new buses. Chief Minister Dhami said that care should be taken that the common people do not face any kind of problems in commuting.
