In Harris’s native village Thulasendrapuram, villagers have prayed at the Sri Dharma Sanstha Temple with the hope that she will emerge victorious by defeating former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump. Thulasendrapuram is the ancestral village of Kamala Harris

Let us tell you that Thulasendrapuram is the ancestral village of Kamala’s maternal grandfather and former Indian diplomat P.V. Gopalan. Kamala’s mother Shyamala was the daughter of former Indian diplomat Gopalan. This village even made headlines in August 2020 when Kamala was nominated as the Democratic candidate for the post of Vice President and later that year her victory was celebrated in this village. Councilor Arulmozhi said, our sincere prayer is that the daughter of this soil wins the US election and she becomes the President of the most influential country in the world.

Let us tell you that apart from special abhishek with sandalwood and turmeric, the councilor has organized a special prayer for the main deity of Shri Dharma Sanstha temple. The main deity of the temple is Kus Devta of Kamala Harris’s ancestors. The villagers have also put up a big banner. It has pictures of Kamala Harris and wishes for victory written on it.
