Uttarakhand: The work of translocating the trees coming in the way of road widening has started
The work of translocating the giant trees coming in the way of intersection and road widening in Haldwani city has been started.
Work of translocating trees started
City Magistrate AP Vajpayee said that other giant trees including Peepal, Pakhand along the roads in Haldwani city are being shifted to another place from environmental point of view. In the first phase, 10 trees have been shifted so far. Apart from this, 10 more trees will be shifted. Along with this, action will be taken to shift 20 other trees as well.
Trees are being shifted for environmental protection
The giant trees coming in the way of road widening in Haldwani are being shifted for environmental protection. This step is being taken under the work of road widening. So that the environment can be protected along with the increasing traffic needs of the city.
