Uttarakhand: Husband killed his wife and mother-in-law, then committed suicide, police investigating
In Tehri displaced colony of Ranipur police station area of Haridwar, the wife brutally killed her husband and mother-in-law. After killing both, the husband himself committed suicide. There is a sensation in the area since the incident. The police team is currently investigating the case.

The incident is said to have happened on Monday evening. The police had received information that shots were fired inside a house in lane number eight in Tehri displaced colony and the gate of the house was also locked from inside. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. When the police broke into the house and looked inside, three bodies were lying in a room soaked in blood. A pistol and a baseball bat were also lying near the bodies.
All three had come to Haridwar from Delhi a day before the incident
Investigation revealed that all three people lived in Delhi. It is being told that all three had come to Haridwar on Sunday, a day before the incident. According to the police, the preliminary investigation has revealed that the murder was done after a quarrel and then suicide. Prima facie, Sunita’s husband Rajiv first attacked his wife with a baseball bat. Then he shot his mother-in-law on the head and killed her.
Details of the deceased
After brutally killing both of them, Rajiv also shot himself in the head. At present, the police is investigating the case. The deceased were identified as Rajiv Arora (60) son of late Sansar Singh and Sunita (55) wife of Rajiv Arora, resident of Delhi, original address Aryanagar Jwalapur, Shankutala (78) wife of late Jagdish Chandra, resident of Tehri displaced colony Ranipur.
