Vishal Dadlani gave an open challenge to Yogi Adityanath, said- go ahead and take a sip of Sangam water yourself

Singer and musician Vishal Dadlani has challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has posted on social media. On Thursday, Vishal Dadlani reacted to CM Yogi Adityanath’s comment in which he denied claims of fecal bacteria in the water of Mahakumbh. Yogi even described the water of Sangam as drinkable. After this, Vishal Dadlani has challenged him to drink a big sip from the river in Prayagraj.
It all started when on February 17, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) released a report stating that high levels of fecal bacteria and total coliform have been found in the water near several Mahakumbh sites. This report created a stir across the country in no time, but CM Yogi Adityanath dismissed it and said that the water of that place is drinkable.
Vishal Dadlani warned Yogi Adityanath
Reacting to this, Vishal Dadlani wrote through Instagram story, ‘Don’t worry about the haters, sir. We trust you. Please go ahead and have a nice chunky glass. Straight from the river, on camera.’ Also, in a story, he posted a news report about the NGT report and said, ‘If you can’t see lakhs of cases of dysentery, cholera, amoebiosis etc. coming up, then you must be special. Please go ahead and drown yourself and your family in sewage. More power to you.’
Questions raised on Kumbh stampede too
Earlier on Wednesday, Vishal had taken a dig at Maha Kumbh in a completely different way. Writing a post in support of Samay Raina amid the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, he criticized the legal system for not paying attention to many cases. His post read, ‘The government wanted to control online content. They have been trying for a long time and were being stopped. Now, in this wave of TV-generated outrage, people are losing their freedom. What else to say… ‘Why did stampede in Kumbh lead to deaths?’ Got it?’
