Scientists found a 2600 year old ‘mysterious’ treasure, its shine was so intense that it dazzled the eyes!

The history of the world is very old. We know about some centuries of it, but not everything because so many events have not been written. This is the reason that from time to time some such mysteries keep coming to the fore, which surprise us. One such lost treasure has been found by scientists in Egypt, behind which a special secret is hidden.

According to the report of Daily Star, a team of scientists has found this treasure in the premises of Karnak Temple in Egypt. This place is in the ancient city of Thebes and the temple in whose premises it is present was built about 4000 years ago. It has expanded over time and changes have been made to it many times. During this time no one had noticed this treasure.

Treasure found in the premises of the temple

According to archaeologists, this is a buried vessel filled with gold, which contains precious things. The important things about which information has been given include shiny gold jewelry and a very rare statue. This seems to be the statue of some god’s family. Not only this, many gold pearls and Nazarbattu to protect from evil eyes are also present in it. Egypt’s Tourism Minister Abdelghaffar Wagdy said that these statues were found from the north-western part of the Karnak temple.

Where did this treasure come from?

He said that this part of the temple was probably residential. These statues are believed to be of the ancient Egyptian gods Amun, Khonsu and Mat. Jewellery historian Jack Ogden says that perhaps these jewellery were made for burial and were not meant to be worn. It is possible that these were made for burial but it is not known why they were kept inside the vessel. Historians believe that this may have been done to protect them from getting damaged or broken.
