Uttarakhand: Good news for Doon Medical College, 300 nursing officers will be posted soon, know when they will get appointment

The Uttarakhand government is emphasizing on improving health facilities in the state. So that the patients coming to the hospitals can be provided the benefit of better health facilities. In this sequence, all the medical facilities have been expanded in Doon Medical College Hospital. Due to which the patients coming to Doon Hospital will no longer have to wait for a long time for treatment. On Saturday, Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated more than half a dozen medical facilities in Doon Medical College Hospital.
Gene therapy facilities have been launched in Doon Medical Hospital, which includes facilities of laser surgery, next generation e-hospital, OPD help desk, color doppler ultrasound level-2, blood sampling and reporting counter. Apart from this, separate OPD registration counters were inaugurated for Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Eye Department and Dental Department on the third floor of the OPD building. So that the patients coming to the third floor do not have to go to the ground floor for OPD registration.
Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that in view of the increasing number of patients in Doon Hospital, facilities are also being expanded continuously. In this sequence, all the health facilities have been expanded. Apart from this, instructions have been given for better cleanliness in the wards and premises of the hospital. Dress code has been made mandatory for cleaning workers and other fourth class staff. Instructions have been given to change the bedsheets of patients admitted in all the wards every day. In which bedsheets of different colors will be prescribed for each day.
He said that 50 ward boys of Doon Hospital will be given MTS training in AIIMS Rishikesh. Staff canteen will also be started soon in the new building under construction. The Health Minister said that it has been decided to create two new departments Neurology and Gastroenterology in Doon Medical College. Also, one more faculty will be posted in the Cardiology department soon. About 1314 nursing officers have been selected from the State Medical Service Selection Board. Out of which 300 nursing officers will be posted in Doon Medical College. All these nursing officers will be appointed before March 31.
