Police have taken major action against liquor smugglers in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. Police have recovered huge amount of liquor in separate incidents in Sakra, Motipur and Sahebganj. Also, many smugglers have also been arrested. Police is investigating these cases and trying to break the network of smugglers.
10 wheeled truck seized
Actually, the police found an abandoned truck on the side of the road in Vishunpur Baghnagari village of Sakra police station area. This truck was parked on a private land. The truck had 10 wheels. Police has seized the truck and is investigating the matter. The SHO said that the truck has been taken to the police station and action is being taken.

Police suspect that this truck was being used to smuggle liquor. They believe that the smugglers fled out of fear after bringing the consignment of liquor and distributing it. A secret place was also made in the truck to hide the liquor. The police is now trying to find out the smugglers involved in this case. The seizure of the truck has created panic among the liquor smugglers of the area. SHO Raju Kumar Pal said that the truck has been seized in the case. Action will be taken by identifying the land owner and registering a case.
Smuggler arrested with 51 liters of country liquor
Meanwhile, Motipur police arrested a smuggler with 51 liters of country liquor. Rajepur police took this action in Dostpur village. The name of the arrested smuggler is Manzoor Ali and he is a resident of Parsauni Raisi. Police caught him when he was carrying liquor on a bike. Police seized both the bike and the liquor. OP President Radheshyam said that Manzoor Ali was smuggling liquor for a long time. He said that on receiving information, the police took immediate action and arrested him. Further action was being taken by registering an FIR.

Police also got a big success in Sahebganj. Police recovered 243.64 liters of foreign liquor from a Bolero vehicle near the bypass bridge. Two smugglers have also been arrested in this case. The names of the arrested smugglers are Neeraj Kumar and Vikas Kumar. Both of them are residents of Hajipur. SHO Sikandar Kumar said that on seeing the police, both the smugglers left the Bolero and started running, but the police chased them and caught them.
