A minor has been brutalised in Darbhanga district of Bihar. Actually, a case of gang rape of a 16-year-old minor has come to light in a village of Darbhanga. The incident took place on the 15th, when the village was celebrating Holi and everyone was resting at night. During that time, some drunken youths brutalised the minor. When the victim came out for defecation at around 8 o’clock in the night, Durgesh Paswan lured her and took her to Dhoviyahi Gaachi and gang raped the minor along with others.

It is being told that Sumit Paswan, Dil Khush Paswan, Sachit Paswan, Amit Paswan, Ankush Paswan, Sujit Paswan, Vishal Paswan, Raghav Paswan, and Ankit Paswan were already present near Dhoviyahi Gaachi. Everyone was already intoxicated. According to the information, Durgesh Paswan first raped the minor, then the rest of the beasts raped her one by one.

The brutes fled leaving her unconscious

The victim could not bear this pain and fainted. The accused fled leaving her unconscious there. Later, when the victim’s family members searched for her, she was found unconscious in the garden. The family members brought her home. The victim’s father works outside the state and the mother did not understand what to do. The accused had threatened that if they went to the police, they would make the video viral. Due to this fear, the family was afraid to go to the police. But, when the discussion started in the village, the family applied to the police station. After this, an FIR was registered and the victim’s medical examination was done in DMCH.

According to the information, the incident took place on March 15. But the FIR was registered on March 25. Giving the reason behind this delay, the family said that the father works outside and the mother wanted to suppress the incident due to fear of defamation. But when the pressure from society increased, the family agreed to lodge a complaint. Now the people of the society are demanding that the culprits should be given strict punishment so that such incidents do not happen again. City SP Alok said that the police is investigating the case. Strict action will be taken against the culprits.
