Uttarakhand: Corona explosion in Dehradun, 10 people tested positive for corona in 20 people’s test, health department in action, expanded the scope of investigation

The increasing cases of corona in the capital Dehradun have raised concerns. On Saturday, 10 cases of Covid infection were found simultaneously. Of these, 6 patients are from Uttarakhand while four cases are from outside the state.

Today, 20 people were tested for corona. Out of these, 10 patients have come positive. So far, 440 people have been tested for corona in the district. Out of which 42 patients are from Dehradun and one case is from Haridwar. 11 patients are from outside the state. Currently, there are 9 active cases in Dehradun district. Out of these, 6 patients are in home isolation and three patients are admitted in different hospitals.

The 10 corona patients found today are admitted in various hospitals of Dehradun. Of these, one patient is admitted in Graphic Era Hospital, one in Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, one in DNA, while one patient is admitted in CHC Doiwala, one in Doon Medical College Hospital, one in Kailash Hospital and four patients in AIIMS, Rishikesh.

So far, 34 patients have recovered from this infection. In view of the ever increasing cases of infection, the health department has increased the scope of investigation. All hospitals have been instructed to operate a separate flu OPD. The health department has advised that if there are symptoms like cough, cold, fever, sore throat, then definitely go to the nearest hospital and consult a doctor.
