An incident that puts humanity to shame is coming to light from Palghar district of Maharashtra. Where the hospital did not provide an ambulance to the father to carry the dead body of his newborn daughter. Then what happened was that the helpless father wrapped the dead body of the newborn daughter in a plastic bag.
After which he returned to his village by traveling about 70-90 km by bus. Let us tell you that the hospital refused to provide a hearse. After which the father was left with no option. He was forced to carry the dead body wrapped in a bag.

Actually, the newborn daughter of Sakharam Kavar, a resident of Jogalwadi village, died. Sakharam and his 26-year-old wife Avita are daily wage laborers. Recently they went to their village for safe delivery. On June 11, there was labor pain but the government ambulance could not come on time.
After visiting many hospitals, a dead baby girl was born on the night of June 12 in Nashik. The next morning, the hospital handed over the body of the girl to the family. The body of the newborn girl was given but no ambulance was provided to take her away.

Reading these words of Sakharam will bring tears to your eyes too. He said, “I bought a bag for 20 rupees, wrapped the girl in a cloth and returned to the village by bus.”
Things did not end here. When he returned to Nasit on June 13 to bring his wife home, no ambulance was provided even then. In this case, health officials said on the allegations that Sakharam himself refused to take the ambulance. The hospital provided him all the necessary help.
This incident not only highlights the health system of Palghar district but also shows how the poor have to face problems due to administrative negligence.
