President Murmu has come to give a big gift to the state. The ‘Rashtrapati Aashiyana’ located in the capital Dehradun will now be opened for the general public as well. President Draupadi Murmu will formally inaugurate it on June 20. After the inauguration, this historic and grand complex located on Rajpur Road will be available to the general public from the month of June.
This complex spread over 132 acres has a lower estate on 19.5 acres of area, while the rest of the area is being developed as a state-of-the-art park.
This is the first time that the doors of Rashtrapati Aashiyana are being opened for the general public. This decision will give it a new identity as a tourist, green and public pleasure spot of Dehradun.
