Uttarakhand: 3 new corona patients found in Dehradun, 7 dengue patients are also being treated

Dengue and corona cases are being reported in Uttarakhand amid monsoon. Corona virus has been confirmed in 3 more patients in Dehradun. However, the corona positive patients do not have serious symptoms and all three patients are in home isolation. So far 87 cases of corona have been registered in Dehradun, out of which 73 patients are local. Whereas, 14 are people from outside the district. On the other hand, 7 dengue patients are undergoing treatment.
According to the report of the Health Department, 70 patients have recovered in the cases reported so far. Currently there are 3 active cases. It is a matter of relief that no one has died due to infection so far. Dehradun CMO Dr. Manoj Sharma has appealed to the people to take precautions to prevent corona infection. If a person is suffering from sore throat, fever, cough or cold, then definitely consult a doctor by going to the nearest hospital.
Dengue patients are also being found: Dengue cases are also being found in Dehradun. A case has been found positive on Saturday i.e. July 5. This patient is admitted in Mahant Indresh Hospital. So far 156 cases of dengue have been reported. Of these, 80 patients are local and 76 are from outside. Currently, 7 cases are active, of which 5 are admitted in Mahant Indresh Hospital, one in HIHT and one patient in Government Doon Medical College Hospital.
So far 149 people have recovered from dengue. Health department teams are continuously surveying houses to prevent dengue. With the help of Asha and volunteers, 4,256 houses were surveyed on Saturday. Dengue-borne larvae were found in 18 of these houses. So far, larvae have been found in 635 houses during the house survey, which have been destroyed by the department.
