Uttarakhand: Due to Kanwar Yatra, schools will remain closed from 14th to 23rd July in Haridwar, DM issued orders

In view of the Kanwar Yatra, Haridwar District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has ordered the holiday of all educational institutions from July 14 to July 23. Haridwar District Magistrate Mayur Dixit said that orders have been given to close schools in Haridwar due to Shravan Kanwar Mela-2025.

Let us tell you that the Kanwar Yatra is starting from July 11. During this time, there is a crowd of Kanwariyas along with traffic jams on the roads. Keeping this in mind, Haridwar District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has ordered to keep all schools and Anganwadi centers closed from July 14 to July 23.

It has been clarified in the order of the District Magistrate that online teaching work will be done to maintain the educational activities of the students. Instructions were given to the officials of the Education Department to ensure strict compliance of the order.

From police-administration to administration and government, everyone is busy preparing for the Kanwar Yatra. The Haridwar district administration has also prepared a route diversion plan during the Kanwar fair. Along with this, strong security arrangements have also been made. The government hopes that this time more than five crore Shiva devotees can reach Haridwar during the Kanwar Yatra.
