Uttarakhand: Operation Kalanemi is going on on the instructions of Dhami, a line of fake babas is seen in Haridwar, 45 arrested

Under Operation Kalanemi, started on the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the police conducted a campaign in Haridwar district and arrested 45 fake sadhus and fakirs. SSP Pramod Dobal told in a press conference that different teams of city and rural areas have raided Kaliyar, Shyampur, Kankhal and Kotwali Nagar areas and made arrests.

All these accused were misleading the devotees by disguising themselves as sadhus. The campaign will continue and strict legal action will be taken against those who spread fraud or hypocrisy in the name of religious faith. SSP Dobal has appealed to the devotees to be cautious of such imposters and inform the police if they see any suspicious person.
