Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Kazmi has praised this decision of the government. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, Uttarakhand is continuously moving towards becoming a leading state. Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta will be taught in the curriculum in schools. It is very important to introduce people to the life of Shri Ram, to take Shri Krishna to the masses and for every Indian to know this.

Mufti Shamoon Kazmi said that this will also establish brotherhood among the people. He said that the decision we had taken to enter into an MoU with the Sanskrit Department to start teaching Sanskrit in madrasas was taken for this purpose. This decision will also strengthen communal harmony and the state will progress. He said that the people who have created distances between us will be removed and we are also providing the benefit of these things to the children of madrasas.
