Major accident at Delhi’s Humayun Tomb, a part of the dome collapsed, many people feared trapped

A major accident has happened at Humayun’s Tomb in Nizamuddin, Delhi. A part of the tomb collapsed today i.e. on Friday (15 August). Eight to nine people are feared trapped in the accident. An official of the Delhi Fire Service said that a part of the dome suddenly collapsed. After receiving the information, the Delhi Police rushed to the spot. Many fire engines have reached the spot. This monument is a tomb of the mid-16th century. There is a huge crowd of tourists here on weekends and holidays.
11 people admitted to hospital
Delhi Police said that 11 people injured in the accident have been rescued and sent to the nearest hospital. Delhi Police is investigating the entire incident. A Delhi Fire Service official said that they received information about the incident at around 4.30 pm. After which 5 fire tenders were immediately sent to the spot.
