On August 30, well-known producer Prem Sagar breathed his last at the age of 84. His death caused a wave of mourning in the entertainment world. Death of Prem Sagar, son of Ramanand Sagar, who made ‘Ramayan’

Let us tell you that Prem Sagar was ill for a long time. Due to which he was also admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday, doctors advised to take him home. His last rites were performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu, Mumbai yesterday.

Ramayan’s Laxman also expressed grief

Sunil Lahiri, who played the role of Laxman in ‘Ramayan’, has also expressed grief over his death. Sunil wrote, “I am very sad to share this sad news that Ramanand Sagar ji’s son Prem Sagar ji has passed away. May God give peace to his soul and give strength to his family to bear this moment of grief.”

Prem Sagar’s career started

Prem Sagar took training from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. During this time, he also learned photography and cinematography there. He worked a lot under Sagar Arts banner. This production house was started by his father Samanand Sagar. Who is quite famous for his TV series Ramayana.

Prem Sagar was famous for religious projects

Let us tell you that Prem Sagar was also famous for many projects. He directed the TV series Alif Laila. Along with this, he also produced religious projects like ‘Kakbhushundi Ramayana’, ‘Kamadhenu Gaumata’ etc.

Along with this, he also worked on projects like ‘Hum Tere Aashiq Hain’, ‘Basera’ and ‘Jai Jai Shiv Shankar’ etc. He was also a cinematographer for many films. He did cinematography in 1976’s ‘Charas’.
