Like Nepal, Gen-Z in India too are enraged, BJP office attacked, causing massive uproar

Attack on BJP Office, leh ladakh
The fire that erupted in Nepal now appears to be spreading to India. Similar to Nepal, protests by young protesters were also witnessed in Leh-Ladakh. This Gen-Z protest turned violent on Wednesday. The youth resorted to heavy stone-pelting, setting a police vehicle on fire, and even attacking a BJP office. Violent unrest is raging in Leh, videos and photos of which are going viral on social media.
Leh Ladakh Gen-Z Protest: Similar to Nepal, Gen-Z protests in India are also agitated
According to reports, the protesters are demanding full statehood for Ladakh. This prompted protests by young protesters in Leh-Ladakh. However, on Wednesday, this Gen-Z protest turned violent. There was heavy stone-pelting and arson, an army vehicle was set on fire, and the BJP office was also attacked. As the situation worsened, additional police forces were deployed at the protest site.
Attack on BJP Office
It should be noted that this is not the first such clash. On Wednesday, local residents also called for a shutdown in Ladakh. However, the central government has called a meeting with Ladakh representatives on October 6th to discuss the people’s demands.
Protests ongoing for the past 15 days
It should be noted that climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for several days. Some of his colleagues were even pulled from the protest and admitted to the hospital. This movement has been ongoing in Ladakh for the past 15 days. If this continues, the situation could become very dangerous. It is possible that violence similar to that in Nepal could erupt among the youth here as well.
