Bihar Elections: AIMIM releases first list, will contest Bihar elections on these 32 assembly seats

In the Bihar election season, the seat-sharing formula for the NDA and the Grand Alliance has not yet been officially revealed. Meanwhile, there is a tussle among their allies over seat allocation. Amidst all this, AIMIM has released its first list, detailing the assembly constituencies it will contest. Akhtarul Iman released the list in a press conference.

AIMIM Bihar State President, Mr. Akhtarul Iman, released the first list in a press conference, detailing the assembly constituencies the party will contest. AIMIM has announced that it will contest 32 seats. Akhtarul Iman stated that the candidates will be announced very soon. The first list is as follows:

  • District Kishanganj: Bahadurganj, Thakurganj, Kochadhaman, and Kishanganj Assembly constituencies
  • District Purnia: Aamro, Baisi, and Kasba Assembly constituencies
  • District Katihar: Balrampur, Pranpur, Manihari, Barari, and Kadwa Assembly constituencies
  • District Araria: Jokihat and Araria Assembly constituencies
  • District Gaya: Sherghati and Bela Assembly constituencies
  • District Motihari: Dhaka and Narkatia Assembly constituencies
  • District Nawada: Nawada City Assembly constituency
  • District Jamui: Sikandra Assembly constituency
  • District Bhagalpur: Bhagalpur and Nathnagar Assembly constituencies
  • District Siwan: Siwan Assembly constituency
  • District Darbhanga: Jale, Keoti, Darbhanga Rural, and Gaura Bauram Assembly constituencies
  • District Samastipur: Kalyanpur Assembly constituency
  • District Sitamarhi: Bajpatti Assembly constituency
  • District Madhubani: Bisfi Assembly constituency
  • District Vaishali: Mahua Assembly constituency
