The Food Safety Department (FDA) has become active to curb the sale of adulterated sweets during the festive season. On Monday, the department raided a large Rasgulla warehouse in the Patel Nagar area of ​​Dehradun.

FDA Raid on Rasgulla Warehouse
During the raid, the FDA team found a large quantity of sweets stored there. It is estimated that around 5,000 kilograms of Rasgullas were stored in the warehouse. Department officials took samples of the Rasgullas from the spot and sent them to the lab for testing.

Interrogation of the Warehouse Operator Continues
According to FDA officials, the quality of the sweets and possible adulteration will become clear after the report is received. Currently, the interrogation of the warehouse operator is ongoing. The department has clarified that strict action will be taken against those selling adulterated food items during the festive season.
