PM Modi will inaugurate the military shrine on State Foundation Day.
Uttarakhand’s fifth shrine, the Sainyadham, is now complete. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this shrine dedicated to the state’s martyred soldiers on State Foundation Day, November 9th.
The Sainyadham will connect with public sentiments like the four other shrines: Minister
Military Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that with the completion of Prime Minister Modi’s vision and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s government’s dream project, the long wait is over. This Sainyadham, dedicated to the state’s martyred soldiers and their families, will connect with public sentiments like the four other shrines.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the construction of the Sainyadham in Uttarakhand before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone for the shrine in December 2021, and subsequently honored the families of 200 martyrs.
