Presidential Visit: Traffic plans will change in Nainital on November 3 and 4. Find out which routes will be restricted

The traffic police have geared up in anticipation of President Draupadi Murmu’s two-day visit to Nainital. The police have made major traffic changes. On November 3rd and 4th, vehicular movement will be restricted on several routes between Nainital and Haldwani.
This will be the traffic plan for November 3rd
- Heavy vehicles will be completely banned from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the President’s visit to Nainital.
- Vehicles from Haldwani to Kathgodam and the hilly areas will be diverted via the Kaladhungi or Ramnagar route.
- Buses and taxis operating from the roadways and KEMU station will be stopped there during the event.
- Arrangements have been made to stop or divert vehicles at key points such as Kathgodam, Panchakki Tiraha, Gaulapar, Saldi Chowki, and Amritpur Gate.
- Vehicles coming from Nainital to Haldwani will be diverted via the Bhawali, Bhimtal, or Kaladhungi routes.
- There will also be a temporary diversion for vehicles traveling through the Russian Band.
These changes will be in effect on November 4th
- Heavy vehicle movement will be prohibited from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Traffic will be diverted around Kaladhungi, Barapathar, Masjid Tiraha, Sherwood College, and All Saints Tiraha.
- Vehicles headed towards Mallital Rickshaw Stand and Mall Road will be stopped at the Toll Tax Tallital.
- Vehicles coming from Bhawali, Bhimtal, Ranikhet, Ramgarh, and Kainchi Dham will be diverted via alternative routes.
- Vehicles coming from Kathgodam, Panchakkhi, and Roadways will also be temporarily diverted or stopped.
