G7 countries pledge to donate one billion vaccines doses globally by the end of 2022
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Thursday that tge Group of Seven (G7) countries have committed to globally distributing one billion COVID-19 vaccine doses by the end of 2022. Johnson’s official said that the initial five million UK doses would be distributed in the coming weeks, according to the Associated Press. US President Joe Biden said 500 million US-manufactured vaccines would be shipping in August.
