BJP brainstormed on retaining power in four states including UP

The Bharatiya Janata Party has started preparing for the assembly elections to be held in 5 states including Uttar Pradesh next year. On Saturday, senior party leaders held a marathon meeting, in which many senior leaders and cabinet ministers including party president, former president and Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended. Sources said that the main agenda of the meeting is the preparation for the assembly elections in 5 states. Along with this, the implementation of central schemes in these states was also discussed.
Party leaders said that the meeting was attended by leaders like President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaran, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Smriti Irani and Kiren Rijiju. After the meeting, a leader said that preparation for the upcoming assembly elections in 5 states was the main agenda of the meeting. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, assembly elections are to be held in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa early next year. Except Punjab, BJP is in power in all these states and will try its best to maintain its grip. There is a continuous round of meetings going on in the BJP for its good performance in these elections. To keep the political future bright, BJP will have to perform brilliantly in UP. Recently, news of differences in UP BJP has also come to the fore. In the recently concluded elections, BJP saved the government in Assam, but in West Bengal the party did not get the expected success.
