Omar Abdullah said after the all-party meeting with Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kashmiri leaders met for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. After this meeting, National Conference Chief Omar Abdullah said that we have not given up on the demand for the restoration of Article 370, but it would be foolish to expect that the present government will restore it. Let us inform that on Thursday, 14 leaders of Kashmir were involved in an all-party meeting with PM Modi regarding the delimitation and election process in Kashmir.
Many senior leaders attended this meeting. After the meeting, all the leaders gave their feedback. In this sequence, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah also spoke in front of the media. Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that he has not given up on the demand for the restoration of Article 370. However, at the same time, he has said that there is no indication that the present government will restore it. Abdullah has described this meeting as the beginning of the struggle. Article 370 was being considered as the biggest topic of this meeting held in Delhi, but the news came that there was no talk on this issue in the meeting. In this meeting, 14 leaders of the state including Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah were present. Abdullah said that it took BJP 70 years to complete the political agenda regarding Article 370. Our struggle has just begun. We don’t want to fool people by saying that through these talks we will get 370 back. To expect that 370 will come back is foolish.
