Corona restrictions will remain in force in Bengal till July 15
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the existing restrictions in West Bengal will continue till July 15 with some relaxations on the movement of private and state transport buses.
Ms Banerjee said at the state secretariat Nabanna that the movement of suburban trains and metro railways will remain closed till July 15. He said that government and private buses will be able to carry 50 percent of the passengers, however, due to the pandemic, there is a ban on local trains and metro.
He said that salons and parlors can be kept open from 11 am to 6 pm with 50 percent customers. Vegetable and fish markets will remain open from 8 am to 12 noon. All other shops can be kept open from 11 am to 8 pm and gym can be opened with 50 percent people. The restriction is in force from 9 pm to 5 am, except for essential requirements. All private offices can be opened with 50 percent staff.
He said that all private offices can be kept open from 10 am to 4 pm. The company will have to make its own arrangements for the transportation of the employees. Looking at the situation with some concessions, the next step will be taken.
