Andhra Pradesh / Kakinada : Four students drowned in Godavari river, three bodies recovered

The bodies of three of the four Class X students who drowned in the Godavari river while swimming in the P Gannavaram mandal of Konaseema region in Andhra Pradesh were fished out.

According to the information received from the police, four students of Lankala Gannavaram village went for a swim in the river to celebrate the cancellation of class X examination and were washed away in the same time. When he did not return home, his parents started searching for him when his clothes and shoes were found on the bank of the river.

Local swimmers retrieved three bodies of three students Santhala Pawan, Yarramsetty Ratnasagar and Bandaru Naveenkumar. Police said the body of the fourth student, Khandavalli Vinay, is yet to be traced.
