Uttarakhand : NSUI demands priority in vaccination of students

Dehradun : State President of National Students Organization of India, Mohan Bhandari, held a press conference and demanded priority in vaccination of students. State President Mohan Bhandari held a press conference on Monday in the order of NSUI’s campaign being run under the leadership of NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan. He said that earlier also the issue of vaccination has been raised by the student body and the examinations being conducted without vaccination are being strongly condemned. As per the directions of the NSUI National President, all the units of the country talked about taking this issue seriously in their respective states. It was said that the government should make a plan for the vaccination of students at the earliest so that the lives of the examinees are not put at risk. In the absence of such a plan, not only the future of the students is being played with but their lives are also in danger. Attacking the Center, NSUI also blamed the central government and its policies for the lack of vaccines in the country. Priority in immunization of students was described as an important step for taking necessary preventive measures at the state level. Recently, NSUI called ‘Thank-You Posts’ set up across the country as condemnable by the Central Government. It has been said that today when the country is facing the shortage of vaccination, then the central government is spending public money in its personal campaign. NSUI claimed that lakhs of students appear for different exams every year. Said that concrete steps should be taken regarding priority in vaccination of students in time. On this occasion, District President Saurabh Mamgai, Metropolitan President Abhishesh Dobriyal, Vashu Sharma, Assembly Speaker Dharampur Saurabh Kumar, Assembly Speaker Cantt Priyanshu Gaur, Vansh Maheshwari, Gaurav Negi, Naman Sharma, Anubhav, Nischay etc. were present.
