Before the series against Pakistan, 7 members of England Men’s ODI team are Corona positive, now Ben Stokes will captain

7 members of the England Men’s One Day International team have been found positive in the COVID-19 test. Samples of these 7 people were taken in Bristol. Of these seven members, three are team players, while 4 are from team management. An official statement has been issued by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) regarding this. According to the UK government’s quarantine protocol, all of them will have to remain in isolation. Apart from this, the members who came in contact with these seven will also have to be isolated. The ECB has confirmed that it will not affect the Royal London ODI and Vitality T20 International series against Pakistan. Ben Stokes is going to return to the England team with this series and now he will take over the command of the team.
In England’s ODI team, 3 players and 4 employees have tested positive for COVID-19, so Ben Stokes will captain England in the ODI series against Pakistan. The England Cricket Board will soon announce the team for the series against Pakistan. The ECB has confirmed the Royal London ODI series to be held. Ben Stokes will return to the England team and will captain the team.
However, the England Board in its official tweet has not given the names of the players who have turned out to be Corona positive. England and Pakistan team will play 3 ODIs and 3 match T20 series. Recently England has defeated Sri Lanka in ODI and T20 match series.
Beating England on their own soil is a challenge for any team. It will not be easy for the Pakistan team to beat the world champions England. Pakistan has announced the team for the ODI and T20 series against England, while the England team will play the series against Pakistan with the new captain Stokes.
