Uttar Pradesh : STF arrested the seller of fake Dr Gas syrup
The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested Kushal Agarwal, an active member of the gang, who made profit by selling fake Dr Gas syrup at high prices, from Aminabad area of Lucknow.
STF said that Kushal Aggarwal, an active member of the gang, who made a huge profit by selling it at high prices in Lucknow and adjoining areas by preparing a fake replica of the well-known drug Dr Gas Syrup of Credit Life Sciences Pvt Ltd along with the directors of Apple Formulation, was arrested yesterday. Arrested from Babi Drug House Aminabad area around 8.45 pm.
He said that apart from 1838 duplicate Dr. Gas syrup, other items and some cash were recovered from the possession of arrested Lucknow resident Kushal Agarwal. He said that this action was taken by the STF, a complaint application filed by Prabhat Harendra Singh, a resident of Kunwar Haraiya Basti of Credit Life Sciences Pvt.
In this sequence, STF contacted the applicant Prabhat Harendra Singh and called him and Rakash Singh, who was looking after the work of the director of the company, to his office. Mr. Prakash Singh was informed that my brother and I are working as directors of Credit Life Science Company. Prabhat Harendra Singh’s name Parda GAS is registered as a trade mark, belonging to the Register of Trademark Class-5 medicine. We have been doing this business for almost 10 years.
Both are brothers. Dr. Gas was registered by my father Harendra Singh in the year 2009. We get Dr. Gas syrup made from Yaka company, but since last few months, counterfeit goods of Dr.Gas are being sold all over Uttar Pradesh by Krishna Pharma Transport Lucknow’s proprietor Kushal Aggarwal.
He told that in the order of information, accused Kushal Agarwal was also called to the STF office. He told that he prepares fake Dr. Gas syrup through Gonda resident Himanshu Soni and orders it in the name of his firm. He gets this syrup at a lower price than the original syrup and makes more profit. Legal action in this regard is being taken by the local police.
