The ashes of Mulayam Singh Yadav were immersed in the Ganges, Akhilesh Yadav completed the rituals

The ashes of Samajwadi Party founder and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav were brought to Haridwar. After which his bone immersion was done by his pilgrim priest Shailesh Mohan with full rituals. Other family members including his sons Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Ram Gopal Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav were present to immerse the ashes of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav. Apart from this, many local leaders also participated in his bone immersion program.

Let us tell you that this happened for the first time in history that the ashes of a particular person have not been immersed in Har ki Paidi of Haridwar, but at Namami Gange Ghat (Haridwar Namami Gange Ghat). Actually these days its flow has been stopped to clean the silt of the Ganges canal. Because of this, there is not that much water on each foot. For this reason it was decided that the ashes of Mulayam Singh Yadav would be immersed at Namami Gange Ghat.

It should be noted that on October 10, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away. He breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to Medanta Hospital on 22 August. After which he was shifted to the ICU on the night of October 1. He had chest infection, urine infection and shortness of breath.
