Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Harela festival celebrated with gaiety in Jain Inter College
The Harela festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Hoshiar Singh Budhumal Jain Girls Inter College. Along with planting saplings in the school premises, the teachers also gave the message of environmental protection to the girl students through virtual classroom. Principal Rekha Agrawal started the Harela festival organized in the school on Wednesday morning by planting saplings. He planted different species of saplings in the school premises along with the teachers. After this, online class was organized by the school on Harela festival. The students involved in this presented their views on the festival through slogans, poetry, essays and art. Giving the message of environmental protection to the girl students, Principal Rekha Agrawal appealed to the students to plant one sapling each on the occasion of Harela festival. On this occasion Sushma, Rachna Gupta, Sonia, Kiran, Kusum Bhatnagar, Kavita, Monika, Upendra Singh Bisht etc. were present.
