Government in UP is run by development, not corruption and nepotism: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government in Uttar Pradesh is running on developmentalism, not corruption and nepotism. Because of this, the benefits of the schemes of the people in UP are getting directly to the people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 280 schemes worth about 1500 crores by pressing the button from BHU grounds. The Prime Minister’s gifts today include the inauguration of the Rudraksh Convention Center. During this, he has praised the UP government fiercely.
Narendra Modi said in his speech that earlier also plans were prepared for UP, but before 2017 there used to be hurdles from Lucknow. While praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Modi said that the Chief Minister himself handles everything. He keeps a close watch on every work and personally monitors the work being done from Kashi to the entire state. The government in UP is run by development not on corruption and nepotism.
Prime Minister Modi said that today some more links are being added to the medical infrastructure of Kashi. Today Kashi is getting new hospitals related to the medicine of women and children. Out of this, 100 beds capacity is being added in BHU and 50 beds in district hospital.
Modi said that at present the work of setting up about 550 oxygen plants in UP is going on in full swing. Today 14 oxygen plants have also been dedicated here in Banaras. Today Kashi city is becoming a big medical hub of Purvanchal. For the treatment of diseases which once had to go to Delhi and Mumbai, their treatment is also available in Kashi today.
He said, today Uttar Pradesh is the state with the highest testing of corona in the entire country. Today Uttar Pradesh is the state with the highest number of vaccinations in the entire country. The infrastructure related to cleanliness and health is being prepared in UP. Today, UP is witnessing unprecedented improvement in medical infrastructure, whether it is village health centres, medical colleges, AIIMS.
Modi said, the way in which UP handled the second wave of corona, prevented the spread of corona infection, it is unprecedented. I am especially grateful to my colleagues from Kashi, from the administration here to the entire team of Corona warriors. The way you created arrangements in Kashi by mobilizing day and night, it is a great service.
He said, the last few months have been very difficult for all of us. The changed and dangerous form of the corona virus attacked with full force. But UP, including Kashi, faced such a big crisis with all its might.
