Government should stop privatization of public-government undertakings

National Mazdoor Congress (INTUC) state president and former cabinet minister Hira Singh Bisht said that every section is troubled under the BJP rule. Inflation has reached its peak. He said these things during the district level conference organized at INTUC office in BHEL on Wednesday. He said that the old pension scheme of central and state employees should be restored and 7500 monthly financial assistance should be sanctioned to the workers of unorganized sector and closed industries, migrant workers and unemployed affected by lockdown and restrictions. Said that the BJP government is continuously privatizing public and government undertakings. Due to which the future of youth will also go dark.

Auction and privatization of railways, power corporations, airports, ports, coal mines, defense production, steel plants, MTNL, oil companies, BSNL and bank insurance etc. should be stopped. State Vice President of INTUC and National General Secretary of BHEL Federation, Rajbir Singh Chouhan said that during the Corona period, doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, energy workers, volunteer workers, Anganwadi, Asha workers, police personnel etc. are engaged in public service day and night. Everyone should be given a special incentive allowance for working in specific conditions.

Accept government jobs and this system should also be implemented on workers who died in Corona. Along with this, it should also be implemented for transport, municipal corporation, municipality, energy corporation, water institute and sub-employees. He said that in order to reduce the unemployment arising due to Kovid, appointments should be made in all government, semi-government and corporations in Uttarakhand, giving preference to contractual-outsourced employees.
